Finnán hails from Nirmathas, where he began training to be a druid in Crystalhurst. However, he found that he did not fit in there; not dour enough, not sufficiently focused on learning the mysteries of the Green Faith. Rather than remain where he did not belong, he took the path of the bard, forsaking further and deeper training in the druidic arts to instead focus on entertaining, keeping the past alive, and, of course, having fun at the expense of others.
Lately his travels have taken him southeast, departing the perpetual war of Nirmathas for the quieter land of Andoran, where the Green Faith is still followed, and bards are respected, but war is not quite so common. He’s looking for fun, occasionally to escape those who would chase down someone who pricked their ego, and to be part of a story worth telling.
